As an adult, organically armed with a variety of cameras, those machines that create empathy, he has produced three narrative features (Shoot! [2011], The Pit [2016], and Pasta Mafia [2018]), several short films (including Forest for the Trees), music videos ranging from Detroit hip-hop to French black metal, clips for dozens of weddings and B'Nei Mitzvah, promotional videos for over 150 wide-ranging small businesses, and innumerable corporate videos.
Also an avid travel and landscape photographer, Jason can rarely be seen in an unfamiliar location without his camera. It is thought that film is the forest for the trees of every other art -- photography, architecture, music, theater, dance, sculpture, painting -- but also distinctly its own thing.
Lastly, just to make it seem like Jason doesn't just watch movies all day, I'll say that he also enjoys heavy metal festivals, performing music, solo travel, meeting and talking with people from all walks of life, long walks along the river, maintaining a rigorously boring sleep schedule, and watching movies.
